Water sports & bathing

There is nothing better than a refreshing dip when the sun is at its height!

Why noy hiking within and along the Toulourenc river? Few travelers know it, but all the locals know that it is one of the most beautiful bathing sites in Provence. At the foot of Mont Ventoux, the Toulourenc River has dug its bed in the soft limestone, and drawn phantasmagorical gorges.

Why not spend a day on Saint-Croix lake and have fun. With its unique turquoise color, going to Sainte Croix Lake is like a trip inside a postcard. Its nautical activities and access inside one of Europe highest canyon makes it a must see destination during your stay in Provence.

Fishing

With over 2000 km of rivers and 700 hectares of lakes and ponds, the region offers lots of choice in fishing sites.

Between the Rhone and Durance rivers, there are many smaller waterways, like the emerald green Sorgue that harbours about fifty species, from the puny bleak to the imposing sheatfish and of course trout.

A fishing permit is required that you can retrieve on line.
