Cyclotourism
Provence is the paradise of cycling. A wide variety of routes exist with itineraries open to very low traffic and a greenway reserved for non-motorized vehicles (“route du Calavon”). The circuits are chosen for the beauty of the sites and villages crossed. Routes from a few hours to a few days can be organized with a guide (or not) and with adapted logistics if stages are planned.
The most seasoned cyclists will gladly embark on the slopes of Mont Ventoux.
If you opt for the electric bike know that the region has many charging points on the courses. Take advantage of the recharge time to visit a village.
Select your bicycle with care! All hybrid bikes, trekking and gravel bikes are recommended for the majority of the itineraries. You can choose freely from any of the models proposed by the bike rentals. And don’t forget repair kits, brakes and light in good working order, hand pump, padlock, helmet, water and vitamin bars.
